In this 2-day intensive, you’ll gain expert knowledge on the behind-the-scenes aspects of ADR.
The first day, Patrick will guide you through the process of setting up sessions, helpful shortcuts and protocol, troubleshooting, and more. Later that day, you’ll get to see and practice audio on the back-end, taking a completed scene and going through the process of mixing audio, making sure everything’s “in the pocket”, and working around music and sound effects.
Day 2 is when Tyler takes over. Tyler will take what Kyle showed you in Tips and Tricks about adapting even further. Building a scene, giving life to individual characters, maintaining consistency, all within the confines of a foreign language script. Then, with the script and session ready, you’ll get to see the master at work directing, plus you’ll get to direct as well, all while being guided by Tyler. Plus, you’ll get to direct a guest actor!
After this workshop, you’ll be able to up your chances greatly of getting a behind-the-scenes job in the industry, or just improving your skills for your own projects!
